Embroidery digitizing is the process of converting artwork or a logo into a digital stitch file an embroidery machine can read. The file specifies stitch type, direction, length, density, and underlay so the machine reproduces your design accurately on fabric. It is not a file conversion, it is a rebuild, which is why the digitizer’s setup choices matter more than the software defaults.
Any file under 8,000 stitches is free, and that covers most left chest and cap front logos. Larger work, like jacket backs, dense fills, or a full collection, is quoted on a 15-minute call, so you know the embroidery digitizing cost before anything starts.

Yes. A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) is the ideal starting point, but a vector still has to be rebuilt as stitches. When we digitize vector for embroidery we remap every shape to a stitch type, set the sequence, and compensate for how thread and fabric behave, which a straight vector export cannot do. We work from PNG, JPG, and hand-drawn art too.
We digitize with professional embroidery software and then set the file up for your specific fabric, placement, and machine. Stitch type, direction, density, pull compensation, and underlay all get adjusted for the job rather than left on defaults, and a digitizer checks the file before it ships. If anything does not run the way you expect, we edit it free until it does.
